The weather for the day was... Low temperature was 44, high temperature was 72.
clear all day. Nothing in the sky at all.

This year, the players shot 100 darts for a high score. The team event was a total of 400 darts. Winners for the year are

A little story about this years event from the event director
For 2009, we go back to VFW 3525. We get a nice check from the Wal-mart Foundation for $2,000. What a surprise that was to get the call to stop by. I thought I was going to pick up a gift card or two (that finally made it through to the right person). I get over to the store and they hand me the check! Wow!!! This is also the first time we sell raffles prior to the event. We do 1000 tickets at $5 each, and the prizes were a 50" TV and a digital camera. The raffle alone increased our donation to MAWNJ by over $4,000 and is the primary reason for the spike in our totals. Maybe we're on to something here. We move the books to another printer this year, who donates their services. They give me a template to drop the ads into, and they run the job. Works great. Unfortunately, it's the only year they provide the service. Luckily the templates will be useful in the future.
